Celebrating Good Trouble
April 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
About this Event
As the late Rep. John Lewis said, “Never be afraid to make some noise, and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” Let us begin a conversation about making waves and making your voice heard, accompanied by dance, music, and poetry from a myriad of inspiring artists. Presented with our friends at NuMu Los Gatos.
About NuMu Los Gatos:
New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU), formerly the Museums of Los Gatos, founded in 1965, is a public non-profit art and history museum located in the Civic Center Plaza in downtown Los Gatos. NUMU’s mission is to engage community at the intersection of art, history and education through innovative, locally connected and globally relevant exhibitions, programs and experiences.
About Mosaic America:
Mosaic America aims to strengthen our rapidly diversifying community through intercultural arts and dialog.
As our society becomes increasingly diverse culturally, we need a new paradigm that creates opportunities for cross-cultural understanding and allows diverse people to come together as Americans while celebrating what makes us unique. Mosaic Silicon Valley bridges cultural communities by presenting new works by artists working collaboratively with dance and music traditions disparate from their own. Learn more here.
