Rosanna Alvarez is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and social entrepreneur who lives poetically, while sharing her life lessons as an educator, speaker, and consultant. She is the co-founder of Eastside Magazine and the creator of the Hella Chingona Podcast. Her life’s work is grounded in her mission to embrace personal power through creative inspiration, which is what inspired her to found Citlali Rose, a brand committed to elevating culture, Chicana feminisms, and intergenerational conversations through art. She is also a danzante with Kalpulli Izkalli, and she currently serves on the boards of YOALI and La Raza Historical Society of Santa Clara Valley. She enjoys serving as a bridge between academia and community in her role as a college instructor at both San Jose State University and De Anza College.
